I was born and raised in Southern California. I grew up in a small, growing city of Yucaipa California, located about 2 hours east of Los Angeles. I Graduated from the local high school and then moved to CSU San Bernardino for my Bachelors degree in Applied Physics. After I graduated, I became a teacher of Earth Science, Physics, Astronomy, and AP Physics. I currently work in Twentynine Palms High School, which receives many students from the local Marine Combat Center. I have moved around the Morongo Basin, located on the west end of the Mojave Desert and found a home in Joshua Tree, CA. I am fortunate that I can easily hike through the national park whenever I would like and I love the natural geologic features that exist out here. I love learning, hiking, being out in nature, and being inside doing puzzles, games, and spending time with my family.  I look forward to learning new skills that will add to my knowledge of education and apply them to other industries.
