George Rimpler

Had served as mayor of Goshen
and also county clerk.

Born in Goshen Sept. 9, 1874, Mr. Rimpler was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rimpler. His wife, the former Clara Minnie Dalka, to whom Mr. Rimpler was married Aug. 21, 1895, died Nov. 16, 1950.

Mr. Rirnpler;s first public office was that of city clerk, after which he was elected in 1914 to a term as Elkhart, county clerk. He was elected mayor of Goshen in 1924 and served through 1928.

Mr. Rimpler was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church. He is survived by two brothers, Edward and Frank, both of Goshen.

Friends will be received at the Culp funeral home from Sunday noon until the hour of the funeral at the funeral home at 2 00 p m. The Rev. Carl Weller will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
