Welcome to my website!  I am an associate professor of economics at Bowdoin College (ME, USA) (with tenure).

I specialize in the economics of banking and finance. I am particularly interested in the effects of asymmetric information and behavioral biases on decision-making. My recent work studies bank learning in the syndicated loan market, consumer choice in the housing and mortgage markets, and the economic history of financial crises.
