This UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) project focused on the effect of Simulink and Model-Based Design on close formation flight. The student addressed a real-life problem, mid-air docking between two UAVs. The beauty of the Model-Based Design allowed him to quickly extend one UAV model to a two UAV formation flight model. The code generation was the highlight of his project which allowed him to implement the Simulink design directly, without rewriting the code. It showed a promising result and the video was well presented and demonstrated the power of Simulink.

MATLAB student licenses are available at no cost to all registered full-time and part-time students at Cornell University and the Weill Cornell Medical College. Installation is authorized for a single computer that is the personal property of the student. Student licenses may NOT be installed onto any Cornell-owned computer.

Create a new MathWorks account using your FSU Email. (If you are a FAMU student and do not already have your FSUID/FSU email, please visit CCS in A332 to receive and activate these.) For more assistance, please visit Creating your MathWorks account using your FSU Email or visit CCS.

The license agreement between FSU and The MathWorks for the MATLAB software, expires each December. As a result, it will be necessary for students to "re-register" in December to continue using MATLAB on their computer. After re-registration, the software will be licensed until the next December. To Re-register, login to your MathWorks account. This will update your license.

This software is available in Remote Computer Labs, which can be used through your web browser. The software may be used for faculty and student classwork, but may not be used for research. Visit the Remote Computer Labs support site for details on accessing this service

You can download and install MATLAB your own computer by logging in to MathWorks using your CSUF Portal username and password. Licenses will expire on a yearly basis and can be renewed provided you are a currently enrolled student.

Can all SAS students use this license? Yes; students in the College, Graduate Division, Professional & Liberal Educations, Fels, Organizational Dynamics, and other SAS degree programs are eligible. The license is provided only for coursework, and only for use on your personally owned computer. Commercial use or use in research labs is not permitted. Download and Install your copies of Mathematica. Then copy Activation Keys sent to your Cal State LA email accounts. Finally launch Mathematica and paste Activation Keys when prompted.

1) even if I set the attempts on assignment as limited to 1, students can do multiple submissions while the assignment is launched. Has anybody been able to limit submissions by asking their admin to create a custom configuration for Matlab grader with a single attempt?

2) if I leave the assignment available after a due date so that students can go in and review their submissions, then they can submit again, which updates their original score even if it past the due date. Anyone has a suggestion for a workaround that still allows students to go back and review their submission but not be able to re-submit? Because this is an external tool, the submissions are not viewable in speedgrader.

The Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce that students can now download, install, and use Matlab on on their personally owned computers. The software can be accessed on the Rutgers University Software Portal

With contributions from the College of Engineering and other colleges, ITS has obtained a University-wide software license for a number of MathWorks products. This license is only available to University of Michigan students, faculty and staff.

Instructors:  Please note that at this time, one Canvas assignment may be linked to one MATLAB problem for automatic grading. While course assignments may include problems sets, you will need to create Canvas assignment groups to bundle individual MATLAB problems into weighted assignment groups for grade calculation. In addition, instructors may wish to create Canvas module requirements to guide students through a progression of problems.

Note that this student instructional license is for use ONLY in an instructional context by undergraduate students and should not be used in a research context, e.g., by students working in research labs.

In light of the increased demand for remote learning due to COVID-19, MathWorks has made temporary at-home access to MATLAB available to Purdue. Active students and faculty at the University can download and install MATLAB (and the entire catalog of MATLAB Toolboxes) to their personally owned computers for remote learning until June 30, 2020. After this date, the temporary at-home license for MATLAB will expire, and Purdue students and faculty will no longer be able to use MATLAB under this offering. As the situation evolves, however, MathWorks may update the expiration date so that Purdue users can continue their learning with MATLAB remotely. 006ab0faaa
