This Privacy Policy describes how Math Learner: Kids Math Games ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children. Our App is designed for children ages 3-10 and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable data protection laws.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A. Information Collected During Setup
When a child first opens the App, we collect two pieces of information during the onboarding process:
- Age Range: The child's age (3-10 years old), used to tailor the difficulty of math problems.
- Learning Goals: Selected math topics of interest (e.g., counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), used to personalize the learning experience.
We do NOT collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, photos, or any other personally identifiable information.
B. Gameplay Data (Stored Locally Only)
The App automatically generates and stores the following data on the device to track learning progress:
- Questions answered and accuracy rates
- Levels completed and star ratings earned
- Experience points (XP) and virtual coins earned
- Daily streaks and engagement history
- Badges and achievements unlocked
- Time spent playing
All gameplay data is stored exclusively on the user's device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
C. Purchase Information
If you choose to subscribe to our premium features, purchase transactions are processed through Apple's App Store and our subscription management partner, RevenueCat. We do not directly collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers. See Section 4 for more details.
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
We want to be clear about what we do NOT collect:
- Personal names or usernames (the App uses a default display name)
- Email addresses or contact information
- Photos, videos, or audio recordings
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Device identifiers for tracking or advertising purposes
- Browsing history or data from other apps
- Contacts, calendar, or health data
Our App does not request access to the device camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location services, or any other sensitive device permissions.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
The limited information we collect is used solely to:
- Customize math problem difficulty based on the child's age
- Present relevant learning topics based on selected goals
- Track and display learning progress within the App
- Provide daily challenges, rewards, and achievement badges
- Maintain daily streaks to encourage consistent practice
We do NOT use any collected information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the educational experience within the App.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
A. RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. When a purchase is made through the App Store, RevenueCat processes:
- Subscription status and entitlement information
- App Store purchase receipts
- Anonymous transaction identifiers

B. Apple App Store
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Apple's privacy practices govern the handling of payment information. For more details, see Apple's Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/privacy.
We do not integrate any other third-party services, including:
- No advertising networks or ad SDKs
- No analytics or tracking services
- No social media integrations
- No crash reporting services
- No cloud storage or syncing services
5. ADVERTISING
Our App does NOT display any advertisements. We do not integrate any advertising SDKs or networks. Premium subscribers enjoy the full App experience, and free users are never shown ads.
6. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
All user data (gameplay progress, achievements, settings) is stored locally on the device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:
- Remains on the device at all times
- Is not transmitted to any external server
- Is not backed up to any cloud service by our App
- Is protected by the device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
The only data transmitted externally is subscription-related information sent to RevenueCat and Apple for purchase verification, which contains no personal information about the child.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Since all data is stored locally on the device:
- Data persists as long as the App is installed
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data
- There is no account to delete because we do not create user accounts
- Subscription data managed by RevenueCat and Apple follows their respective retention policies
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
Our App is designed specifically for children ages 3-10, and we take children's privacy very seriously:
- We do NOT collect personal information from children
- We do NOT require account creation or registration
- We do NOT include behavioral advertising
- We do NOT include social features, chat, or user-generated content
- We do NOT share any data with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do NOT use tracking technologies or device identifiers for profiling
The App includes a Parental Gate feature that requires adult verification before accessing parent settings, ensuring children cannot inadvertently change App settings or make purchases.
9. PARENTAL RIGHTS AND CONTROLS
Parents and guardians can:
- View their child's learning progress through the Parent Profile section (protected by a Parental Gate)
- Review their child's daily goals, accuracy, and time spent
- Manage subscription settings through the App Store
- Delete all App data by uninstalling the App
Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data to request access to, correct, or delete beyond what is stored locally on your device.
10. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Our App is available internationally and supports multiple languages. Regardless of your location, the same privacy protections apply. All data is stored locally on your device. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws:
- We process minimal data based on the legitimate interest of providing the educational service
- No personal data is transferred to external servers
- You may exercise your rights under applicable law by contacting us
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
