The Workshop focuses on mathematical methods and models and conservation practices for the protection of Cultural Heritage.
The principal aim of the workshop is improve the current strategies of conservation and restoration in Cultural Heritage (CH). The Workshop will be focused on mathematical, numerical and computational aspects as well as conservation strategies and experimental tools related to the conservation of materials of CH in an interdisciplinary framework. The Workshop will cover the following topics: degradation of materials such as corrosion of sulphation, damage and fractures, stress in thermomechanic systems, contact and adhesion problems, phase transitions and reaction-diffusion models, restoration techniques, additive manufacturing.

Final goal is to promote an interdisciplinary discussion between the experts in cultural heritage and the mathematical community in order to advance significantly in the field of CH protection.
