Mathkin ("Mathkin," "we," "us," or "our") is an offline mathematics adventure game designed for children and families. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Mathkin mobile application (the "App").
Mathkin does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information. Game progress and settings are stored locally on the device. The App contains no advertising, third-party analytics, tracking, social features, or user-generated content. It offers one optional non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple.
The App stores the following game data only on the user's device:
game progress, unlocked levels, scores, stars, and achievements;
answers, accuracy totals, skill progress, and streak information;
virtual coins, crystals, rewards, and daily-quest progress;
Mathkin companion level, energy, happiness, and equipped accessories; and
language, sound, haptic, and motion preferences.
This local game data is not sent to us or to a server operated on our behalf. It is not used to identify the user.
Mathkin does not collect:
names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or account credentials;
precise or approximate location;
contacts, photos, videos, audio recordings, camera data, or microphone data;
health, fitness, financial, payment, or purchase information sent to the developer;
device identifiers for advertising, browsing history, search history, or usage analytics;
advertising data, diagnostics sent to us, or data used for cross-app tracking; or
content submitted by users or communications between users.
The App does not request access to location, contacts, calendars, reminders, Bluetooth, the local network, the camera, the microphone, or the photo library.
Mathkin includes an optional Export Save action. If a user chooses it, the App prepares a text copy of the local save and opens the iOS share sheet. The user decides whether to share it and which destination to use. We do not receive the exported save. A destination selected by the user may handle the exported content under its own privacy policy.
Mathkin is designed to be usable by children without providing personal information. The App has no account creation, behavioral advertising, tracking, public profiles, chat, or external social features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information has been provided to us outside the App by a child, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Mathkin is built with software libraries including React Native and Expo. In the released App, these libraries support functions such as rendering, local storage, audio, and haptics. We do not configure them to send analytics or advertising data to us.
Apple may process information when a user downloads the App, uses App Store services, or chooses to share diagnostics with Apple. That processing is controlled by Apple and is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and device settings.
If a parent chooses to unlock Mathkin Full Adventure or restore a purchase, the transaction is presented and processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not operate a purchase server, receive payment-card details, create customer accounts, or use purchase information for analytics or advertising. The App stores only a local secure entitlement flag so an already verified purchase remains available offline.
Local game data remains on the device until the user:
uses Settings → Reset Progress in Mathkin;
clears the App’s data through device controls, where available; or
deletes the App.
Because we do not receive or maintain a server-side copy, we cannot recover local progress after it is deleted and we generally have no user data to access, correct, or delete on our systems.
Mathkin minimizes privacy risk by keeping game data on the device and not operating a user-data backend. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. Users should protect access to their device and use current iOS security updates.
The App does not transfer local game data to us in another country. Any processing performed independently by Apple or by a service selected from the iOS share sheet is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Users can:
change sound, haptic, motion, and language preferences in Settings;
export a copy of the local save using Export Save;
erase local progress using Reset Progress; and
delete all App data by uninstalling Mathkin.
Reset Progress does not revoke or delete an App Store purchase. A parent can use Restore Purchase after completing the parental gate.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s features or data practices change. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide notice in the App or on the policy page. If Mathkin later adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or other data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are released.
