Mathilde Esposito

Welcome to my website! I am a third year Ph.D candidate in Economics at AMSE, under the supervision of Gilles Dufrénot and Eva Moreno Galbis. I am an applied economist focusing on the impacts of demographic aging and life expectancy on growth, labor and productivity. In my research, I combine macro and micro perspectives. 

I am currently an intern (FIP) at the International Monetary Fund, Fiscal Affairs Department.

From November 2025 to January 2026, I was a Visiting Researcher at the Yokohama National University, Japan. During Spring 2026, I worked as an intern at the OECD. 

I also have or have had the privilege of teaching economics at the Lycée Thiers Preparatory Classes for the Grandes Écoles and Aix-Marseille Univ.
