The aim of our group is to develop photonic nanoantennas to strongly enhance the optical magnetic field of light in order to boost the interactions between 'magnetic light' and matter.

We recently demonstrated that we were able to characterize the electric and magnetic quantum environment at the surface of a plasmonic nanostructure.

In this paper, we show that through photonic nanoantennas, 'magnetic light' and matter interactions can dominate their electric counterparts.

Magnetic local density of states can be theoretical enhanced by 3 orders of magnitude using optical nanoantennas.
