Biography
I am a PhD Fellow in Political Science at Aarhus University.
My research focuses on comparative democratic legitimacy and how to enhance the performance of liberal democracy. Most of my research aims to be practically relevant to the preservation and improvement of liberal democracy.
My dissertation, Incumbent-Opposition Dynamics: Essays on Political Communication During Autocratization, explores how incumbents and opposition parties co-produce voters' approval of transgressions against democracy.
I have a strong interest in quantitative methodology and causal inference. Most of my research attempts to combine externally valid treatment design with the strengths of experimental research.
