Effective Date: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Math 4 Kids mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), developed to provide an educational and fun math learning experience.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the App.
Personal Information: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your real name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
Usernames and Leaderboard: To participate in the global leaderboard, users are required to create a "username." We strongly advise users (and parents) not to use real names. Usernames, along with game scores and equipped avatars, are securely stored in our database (Google Firebase) solely for the purpose of displaying the leaderboard.
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Google AdMob (Advertising): The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Because our App is designed for children, we have configured our ad settings to serve non-personalized ads that comply with Google Play’s Families Policy and COPPA. AdMob may still collect non-personal data (such as device identifiers or IP addresses) for fraud prevention, reporting, and frequency capping.
Google Firebase (Database): We use Google Firebase (Firestore) to store the leaderboard data (usernames and scores).
We recognize the need to provide further privacy protections with respect to personal information we may collect from children. The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information (such as putting a real name as a username), we will immediately delete this from our servers.
Parents can contact us if they believe their child has provided personal data, and we will take necessary steps to remove it.
We value your trust in providing your information. We use commercially acceptable means (such as secure Firebase servers) to protect it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
