The Department of Mathematics at the Universidad del Valle, Cali-Colombia, is pleased to invite you to the event, International conference: Multidisciplinary Aspects in Mathematics and its applications, 2020.

This year, the conference is dedicated to the following
Colombian Mathematicians:

Prof. Roberto Ruíz Salguero (webpage, Universidad del Valle).

Prof. Gonzalo García (webpage, Universidad del Valle).

and also, to the memory of the following Professors:

Prof. Guillermo Restrepo Sierra (In memoriam, Universidad del Valle).

Prof. Doris Hinestroza (In memoriam, Universidad del Valle).

Prof. Ana María Sanabria (In memoriam, Universidad del Valle).

The aim of this conference is to exchange the recent progress and ideas in different fields of pure mathematics and its applications. The conference will be a video conference via Zoom and will take place on the 29th-31th of October, 2020. Every year the conference will be dedicated to professors at the Department of Mathematics of the Universidad del Valle, who have played a strong impact in the professional life and in the mathematical research of the invited speakers. The page of the upcoming conference (ICMAM) to be celebrated in 2022 is here.

The event: International conference: Multidisciplinary Aspects in Mathematics and its applications, arises with the initiative of presenting multidisciplinary aspects of the mathematical activity of several mathematicians around the world stemming from Universidad del Valle, Cali-Colombia. The scientific committee and also the founders of the conference are formed by the following Colombian mathematicians: Milton Aguirre, Hanner Bastidas, Duván Cardona, Brian Grajales, Karina Navarro and Sergio Troncoso. Thanks to them for making this scientific project possible.

The official language of the conference is Spanish.
