Privacy Policy for MathSolver: Learn & Practice
Effective Date: September 14, 2026
MathSolver: Learn & Practice ("MathSolver", "we", "our", or "the app") is an educational mathematics application designed to help users solve, learn, practice, and review mathematics problems.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use MathSolver: Learn & Practice.
By using the app, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Process
MathSolver is designed to provide most of its educational functionality directly on your device.
Depending on the features you use, the app may process the following information:
Mathematics Problems and Answers
When you manually enter a mathematics problem, the problem and its solution may be processed on your device to provide the requested mathematical result and step-by-step explanation.
Your solved problems may also be stored locally on your device so that features such as History and Favorites can work.
Camera and Images
If you choose to use the camera or gallery features to solve a mathematics problem, the app may access the image you select or capture.
The app uses Google ML Kit text recognition to perform OCR (optical character recognition).
OCR processing is designed to occur on the device. Images are not intentionally uploaded to our own server for OCR processing.
Camera access is only used when you choose a camera-based feature and is not used continuously in the background.
Local App Data
The app may store certain information locally on your device, including:
Solved mathematics problems
History entries
Favorite problems or formulas
Practice and quiz-related progress
App preferences and settings
Selected language and theme preferences
Age-treatment status required for advertising configuration
The app does not require you to create an account.
We do not intentionally upload your locally stored mathematics history or preferences to our own servers.
2. Age Information and Children's Privacy
MathSolver: Learn & Practice is designed for multiple age groups, including children and teenagers.
Because the app may be used by children, the app uses a neutral age-selection screen before advertising functionality is initialized.
The app uses the selected information to determine an age-treatment status for advertising purposes.
The app is designed so that the exact birth year or exact age is not stored as part of the persistent age-treatment information. Instead, the app stores the necessary age-treatment category locally on the device.
Before an age-treatment decision is available, advertising is not initialized or requested.
For children and users whose age is not known, the app is designed to apply the appropriate child/family advertising restrictions and does not intentionally request personalized advertising.
We do not knowingly sell children's personal information.
We do not intentionally collect children's personal information for purposes unrelated to providing the app's educational functionality.
Google Play Families requirements and applicable children's privacy laws may apply to use of the app by children.
3. Advertising
MathSolver: Learn & Practice uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob may process certain information required to provide, measure, protect, and improve advertising services, subject to Google's applicable policies and settings.
Depending on the user's age-treatment status and applicable requirements, advertising may be configured differently.
For children and users of unknown age, the app is designed to use child-appropriate advertising treatment and to prevent personalized advertising.
For users determined to be outside the child/under-age treatment requirements, advertising may operate according to Google's applicable advertising policies and the user's applicable settings.
For more information about how Google handles information for advertising services, please review Google's privacy information.
Google Privacy Policy:

4. Advertising Identifiers
Because the app may display advertisements through Google AdMob, advertising-related identifiers and device information may be processed by Google where permitted by applicable policies and the user's age-treatment status.
For children and users of unknown age, the app is designed to restrict transmission of advertising identifiers as required by Google Play Families requirements.
We do not use advertising identifiers to identify individual users personally.
5. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
MathSolver does not intentionally collect the following information for its own purposes:
Your name
Your phone number
Your contacts
Your passwords
Your payment card information
Your precise physical location
Your microphone recordings
Your personal messages
Your photographs for purposes unrelated to the OCR feature
The camera/gallery feature is used only when you choose to use an image-based mathematics feature.
6. Third-Party Services
The app uses certain third-party software and services to provide its functionality.
These may include:
Google AdMob
Used to display advertisements.
Google may process information in accordance with its own privacy policies and applicable advertising requirements.

Android / Google Play Services
Certain Android and Google Play services may be used to provide advertising and standard app functionality.
Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
We do not control the privacy practices of third-party service providers.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not intentionally share your locally stored mathematics history, favorites, practice results, or app preferences with third parties.
Some information may be processed by third-party services that are necessary for app functionality, advertising, security, or platform services.
For example, Google AdMob may process information required to provide advertising services.
Third-party processing is subject to the applicable provider's privacy policies and terms.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Most mathematics-related information and preferences used by the app are stored locally on your device.
You can remove locally stored app data by using the available app/device controls, including clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
Because the app does not require a user account, we do not maintain a user account database containing your mathematics history.
Information processed by third-party services such as advertising providers may be retained according to their respective policies and legal requirements.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to limit unnecessary collection and transmission of information.
The app is designed to process mathematics problems and OCR data locally where possible.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Third-party services used by the app are responsible for their own security practices.
10. Children's Privacy
MathSolver: Learn & Practice may be used by children and teenagers for educational purposes.
We take children's privacy seriously and design the app to follow applicable Google Play Families requirements.
