I am a Professor of Social Sciences in Economics and Finance at the Cracow University of Economics and Head of the Macroprudential Research Division at Narodowy Bank Polski. My research interests include Bayesian econometrics, financial econometrics, time-series modelling, financial stability, macroprudential policy, banking-sector analysis, credit cycles and economic convergence.
My research combines econometric methodology with empirical applications in macroeconomics, banking and financial stability. Particular research interests include nonlinear and Bayesian models, financial cycles, credit dynamics, the procyclicality of bank lending, monetary policy and Seemingly Unrelated Regression models.
