About Matej Michalko

Matej Michalko has spent over 15 years at the forefront of blockchain and cryptography. Beginning his journey in 2010 as one of the earliest Bitcoin miners, he quickly evolved from CPUs to advanced ASIC systems and went on to create industry-firsts, including the first Bitcoin marketing agency and international blockchain conferences.

Today, as the founder and CEO of Decent Cybersecurity, Matej leads a NATO-cleared, EU-certified, and SECRET-level security company, trusted by governments, critical infrastructure, and enterprises worldwide. Under his leadership, Decent Cybersecurity joined the €32M AIDA project, funded by the European Defence Fund, and expanded operations to eight countries in just two years.

Matej’s achievements have been recognized globally. He is the recipient of Startup of the Year, Best Newcomer, and Challenger Award, and was honored on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list. His vision continues to inspire the next generation of innovators in blockchain, cryptography, and cybersecurity.
