Matchi is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using matchi, you agree to the practices described below.

To provide our booking service, we collect and store the following:
- Account information: your phone number (used to sign in), and the profile details you provide such as your name, profile photo, playing position, age, and region (wilaya/moughat
- Activity data: your bookings, subscriptions, teams, and predictions created within the app.
- Device information: a push-notification token (Firebase) used to send you notifications.
- Location: with your permission, we access your device's location to show nearby fields and to display distances on the map. We do not store your location on our servers or share it with third parties. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to operate the app: to authenticate you, manage your bookings and teams, display fields near you, and send you relevant notifications. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
4. Authentication & Security
Sign-in is performed through a one-time verification code (OTP) sent to your phone number. All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and your session is stored securely using your device's protected storage. We apply reasonable technical measures to safeguard your data.
5. Notifications
matchi may send you push notifications about important events, such as booking confirmations. Notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service). 6. Third-Party Services
matchi relies on the following service providers, which process data on our behalf to make the app work:
- Supabase — secure hosting, database, and authentication.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications.
- Google Maps — displaying field locations on the map.
We do not share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
7. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time directly from the app this permanently removes your personal data associated with the account.

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information from within the app, or by contacting us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision.
