It was 26th January. There was a flag salutation held in my school. All the students had gathered in our school compound. All the students had been asked to be in the full uniform and to stand in front of the flag post. The NCC cadets had their own place. The general secretary of my school was with principal sir. A brave child who had won the bravery award performed the flag salutation. It was attended by all the students and teachers of my school. Some parents were also present there. The flag was hoisted exactly at 8.00 AM. A short speech was given by our chief guest and our principal sir as well asking and inspiring us to be brave and obedient to Indian Constitution and to be great citizen. We were guided about how to love and serve our country and to be nice citizen. After so, there were many competition held for two hours such as dance, drama, singing etc. There was an elocution competition also on 'Patriotism and Patriots'. There was an exhibition also of painting, the subject was various events of our freedom fight with British. A competition of group songs of patriotism was also held. All enjoyed and appreciated the competition. After all such competition, the certificates of various competitions were distributed to the diligent students. At 11 O'clock we all were present in the assembly hall. There was a program , a documentary film on our freedom fight was shown. It was a thrilling events for all students. In the end we all sand National Anthem. All students were given sweet and the function was finished. It was thrilling and inspiring event for all students.
