IMPORTANT: All scanning and recovery processes are performed LOCALLY on your device. We DO NOT collect, store, or upload your personal files (photos, videos, contacts, etc.) to any external servers or third parties. Your data remains entirely under your control on your physical device.
Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
File Content: Your photos, videos, documents, and other scanned files NEVER leave your device. We do not have access to your files, and they are not uploaded to any servers.
Location Data: We do not track your GPS location.
Analytics & Advertising Identifiers: We do not use any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs, and we do not collect an advertising ID.
The app displays clearly labeled sponsorship content for our affiliate partner, Systeme.io. This is self-managed promotional content — there is no third-party ad network, no advertising identifier, and no behavioral tracking. Tapping the sponsorship simply opens the partner's website in your browser.
If you choose to sign up using our partner link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps keep the app free and updated. We do not share any of your information with our affiliate partner; tapping the link only opens their public website.
To provide recovery services, the app requires specific permissions:
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Essential for scanning the device storage to locate and restore lost or deleted files.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used on older Android versions for file access.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: Used on Android 13 and later to access media files for recovery.
READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS: Used to scan for and restore lost or deleted contacts from the local database on your device.
INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE / ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Used only to open our affiliate partner's website (Systeme.io) in your browser when you tap the sponsorship, and to check basic network availability. Your files are never uploaded.
Since all data processing occurs locally, your files are protected by your device's own security features. We recommend using device encryption and secure passwords to further protect your data. We do not store any of your files on our infrastructure.
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately.
