American Cricket is a bat and ball sport. It consists of two teams with five players each taking turns batting and fielding. The hitter tries to hit the ball. If the ball lands fair on the pitch the hitter runs to the 1-pad. They can stay on the pad for 1pt or return for 2. Downs are accumulated from fielders catching the ball before it touches the ground, the hitter swinging and missing twice in a row, or by the hitter or runner on the pad being touched by the ball. 5 downs end the inning. 5 innings per game. In the event of a tie, extra innings are played until there is a clear winner. The game has the same positions as Flutterball, Infielder, Cornerfielder, Outfielder, Tosser, and Returner. American Cricket is played in the USACA .
