I completed degrees in Electronics Engineering (B.Eng. 2009), Biomedical Engineering (M.Eng. Bioelectric 2012), and Computational Neuroscience (PhD 2018). In fall 2011, I joined Computational Vision Group in the School of Cognitive Sciences (SCS), IPM (as it was formerly known as the Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics) in Tehran, Iran. Throughout these years (2011-2014) I did research in computational neuroscience, mostly on object recognition using DNNs and CNNss, visual psychophysics, and EEG in humans (see my publications). In Jan 2014, I started my PhD at Monash University, Australia, where I developed machine learning, deep learning, and statistical solutions to analyse neural data.
