Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc. (MaPa Org., Inc.), in partnership with Joy Nostalg Foundation, held a Participatory Design Workshop engaging parents and children in co-creating ideas for accessible and family-centered digital parenting resources based on the MaPa Kids Program.
Through focus group discussions and interactive activities, families shared their experiences, insights, and creative ideas for building a βdigital libraryβ of parenting tools to make learning more meaningful, relatable, and fun for both parents and kids! πβ¨
Pilot Testing of Enhanced 4Ps Family Development Sessions β¨
October 15 - 17, 2025
Through our partnership project with DSWD, βStrengthening the 4Ps Family Development Sessions,β members of the Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc. conducted a pilot testing of two enhanced FDS modules with 32 Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries in General Santos City.
Focus group discussions with beneficiaries, City Links, and CSWD staff provided valuable feedback that will help further refine and strengthen the modules. π¬

Last October 13β15, 2025, Masayang Pamilya Org., Inc., led by our Chairperson and Ateneo de Manila University Professor Liane PeΓ±a Alampay, conducted pilot simulations of select enhanced DSWD 4Ps Family Development Sessions (FDS) in Floridablanca and Angeles, Pampanga. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
In this co-creation endeavor, parent participants and municipal and city links joined the pilot sessions and shared their valuable feedback to help refine and enhance the modules. π‘β¨
These mark an important step in making the FDS more engaging, relevant, and effective in empowering Filipino families. ππ¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦

Last October 9, 2025, MaPa Org., Inc. and Joy Nostalg Foundation (JNF) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement at the JNF Office in Ortigas, Pasig.
Through this partnership, MaPa Kids content will be adapted into asynchronous online materials to ensure parenting and family learning is more accessible, engaging, and family-centered. π»π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
Present during the signing were Terence Ang (CEO of JNF), Jennel Reyes (Executive Director of MaPa Org., Inc.), Rhoenald Jhean San Juan (Family Development Center Head), Judy Ann Galisim, and Lizette Aycardo (Home Development Officers).

(MaPa Org., Inc.) - Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) research and program development team participated in the 61st PAP Annual Convention and 8th ARUPS Congress held in Cebu City, Philippines, with the theme βFuturescaping Psychology: Our Role in Attaining the Sustainable Development Goals.β
Convened by Dr. Liane PeΓ±a Alampay of the Ateneo de Manila University and Chairperson of the Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc., the symposium titled βFrom Design to Scale: Lessons in Engaging Communities for Enhanced Effectiveness and Impact of Interventions in LMICsβ featured four papers highlighting lessons from designing, implementing, and scaling community-based parenting interventions

MaPa Org., Inc. proudly joined the Strong Network of Care - Calabarzon 3rd Quarter Meeting last September 24, 2025, at the DSWD Extension Office, Southpark, Alabang.
We shared our MaPa program that focuses on preventing OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children) by empowering parents and children to stay safe and informed online. Through our collective efforts with partners, we continue to strengthen community support systems and protect families from online threats. π»π‘οΈ
Learning Practice, Weaving Power Against GBV! β

Last September 17β18, the Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc. joined the In-Country and Thematic Dialogues on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention in Southeast Asia at Novotel, Cubao. β¨
The two-day gathering brought together diverse organizations and key actors to strengthen collaboration, deepen shared understanding, and push forward evidence-based solutions for preventing gender-based violence. ππ€

Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc., in partnership with the Philippine Childrenβs Ministries Network (PCMN), has successfully completed a 5-day MaPaChat Hybrid Facilitator Training! π±π
The training gathered a diverse group of participants such as the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) Desk Officers, Sangguniang Barangay Members, church leaders, pastors, social workers, project coordinators, and youth coordinators committed to strengthen families through positive and playful parenting. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
