I'm a postdoc at the University of Tokyo, working on supernova research.
After obtaining Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Geophysics from Kyoto University, I spent nine years in industry. I completed a three-year Ph.D. in the Astronomical Science Program at SOKENDAI in March 2025 while employed, and, upon graduation, left industry to pursue postdoctoral research on massive stars and their terminal explosions, especially core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe).
