My current research focuses on solving the dynamics of quantum field theories and string theory in the strongly coupled regime, with a broader goal of understanding complex physical, biological, and social systems composed of many interacting constituents. I am in particular interested in finding their various semi-classical limits which grants us with analytic control over otherwise intractable theories.
Beyond this, I also study quantum information theory and quantum algorithms. While these fields may appear distinct from the study of strongly coupled systems, my broader objective is to connect them -- I would like to understand the semi-classical emergence of quantum information, generalising what has been pursued in the context of the AdS/CFT.
