For those of you who missed the open house, we had a great time

together with our fellow groups... Leos, Lioness, Scouts, Baseball, as

well as District attendees. We gained a new member in our Lions

Club as a result.

Our Easter Egg hunt for community children was a tremendous

success. I can’t say enough about the efforts of our High School

and DunMar Leo clubs in ensuring the success of the egg hunt.

The children who participated were very happy with the candy

filled eggs, special prizes and the refreshments that were provided

by our Lioness Club. We received many positive comments from

parents about how much they appreciate our efforts on behalf of

the children. All in all, I’d say our club is enjoying a very successful

interaction with our communities. And, Lion Garth handed out four

applications to prospective members.

We’re looking forward to continued growth as folks find out just

how fulfilling it is to be a community service volunteer.

YOURS IN LIONISM,

KING LION JON ERDOSSY

DINNER MEETINGS - WE ARE GOING TO ONCE AGAIN INSTITUTE THE RSVP REQUIREMENT FOR DINNER MEETINGS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ENJOYING DINNER BEFORE THE REGULAR MEETING, THEN YOU MUST RSVP. DINNER BEGINS AT 6:30 AND THE REGULAR MEETING BEGINS AT 7:00 PM. WE ARE GOING TO SEND AN EMAIL TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DINNER MEETING DATE TO ADVISE FOLKS OF THE MENU AND GIVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT YOU WISH TO ATTEND. IF YOU WISH TO ENJOY DINNER, THEN YOU MUST RSVP AS ADVISED IN THE EMAIL. WE WILL THEN BE ABLE TO PREPARE MEALS FOR THE CORRECT NUMBER OF ATTENDEES AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PREPARING TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE. THIS SHOULD ALSO HELP WITH THE TIME CONSUMING CLEAN UP THAT OCCURS AT THE END OF THE REGULAR MEETING. OUR KITCHEN CREW THANKS YOU IN ADVANCE AS THIS WILL MAKE THEIR LIVES A LITTLE EASIER.

DINNER MEETING COST WILL BE $8.00 FOR ADULTS AND $4.00 FOR CHILDREN.......
