PhD. GIScience
University of California, Santa Barbara
I am fourth year PhD student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I am co-advised by Grace Wu and David Lopez-Carr. My research uses novel data and computational algorithms to enable sustainable development.
My research explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, geospatial analysis, and socio-environmental systems with a particular focus on low-resource settings. Currently, I am working on examining the efficiency and adaptability of large language models across diverse spatial scenarios.
Prior to my PhD program, I have MA in Geography at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where my thesis was “Trajectory Segmentation for Behavioral Mode Detection in Animal Movement”.
