You might also notice the above MCU watch order list includes the Disney Plus shows, such as WandaVision, Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and so on. They're not movies, but the series are just as important to the overarching story being told in the MCU; everything canon-wise from 2008 to 2023 is on the list.

Daredevil's story, which started in She-Hulk and will continue in Born Again in 2024, loosely picks up where the Netflix series left off. Those three seasons on Netflix haven't been declared officially canon, but Charlie Cox's return and an intriguing Secret Invasion connection is about as close as we'll get to confirmation that The Defenders Saga semi-existed in the MCU.

Rumors suggest that the threequel could revolve around the Merc with a Mouth killing off the Fox universe. That'll (confusingly) make those X-Men movies canon in the MCU, before removing them entirely. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. For now, you can watch them separately with our guide on how to watch the X-Men movies in order.
