About Me

Welcome to my website.

I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the Institute of Economics Polish Academy of Sciences in Poland (polish: dr hab, profesor INE PAN). I am also a Director of the Centre for Studies of Inequalities at INE PAS.  In 2021, I was awarded the state decoration of the Bronze Cross of Merit.

My research interests include the measurement of inequality, poverty, and welfare, the development of metrics more generally, as well as social choice theory. I am the Associate Editor for The Journal of Economic Inequality.
