Hi! My name is Martin Zafiryadis, I’m a Ph.D. candidate at Copenhagen Business School, and I will be on the 2025/2026 accounting job market.

My research explores how financial reporting and regulatory disclosures shape labor outcomes and investor decisions, with a focus on human capital and employee-related reporting. 

In my job market paper, I examine whether the lack of information in financial reporting concerning the firm's workforce implies that financial reporting is less informative for assessing firm risk when the firm is more dependent on labor, and whether enhanced human capital information can improve the prediction of firm survival.  You can read more about the paper on my research page.
