Hi,
I am Martin, former PhD Candidate at the Computer Vision Lab (CVL) of ETH Zürich supervised by Prof. Luc van Gool.
Before joining CVL in May 2018, I received my BSc in Mathematics at HfT Stuttgart and my MSc in Computer Science at the IT University of Copenhagen. In between those two study programs I used to work three years in the German automotive industry as Software Engineer focusing on Software Testing. There, I had the privilege to be part of teams developing an energy efficient automated geabox and an innovative driver assistend system (ADAS).
After my PhD, I worked 18 months at Sony as an R&D Software Engineer developing prototypes for their Event-based Vision Senor.
In April 2024, I joined Geoprevent to apply my computer vision and machine learning knowledge to their autonomous, radar-based, real-time avalanche detection system. For more info, please find my CV above.
