Bookings for Pirate Marra 2018 are now open! All bookings are to be made via this website and camp fees paid via a debit/credit card. Early Bird discount for participants ends on 14th February 2018. The deadine for all bookings is 1st April 2018
The event is open to Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Guides and Rangers to attend as participants. Groups can come with all their sections (i.e. Cub Pack and Scout Troop) or simply bring along one section (i.e. only Cub Pack).
Young Leaders can be registered within a Group Booking, however as with Adult Leaders they will not be able to take part in any activities and therefore pay the lower price. Any Young Leaders wishing to take part in activities should be registered as Explorers and then they will be able to take part in the full programme.
Don't have a nights away permit? No problem! Make a note on your booking form and we can make arrangements to camp you with another group who has.
Group Letter Template
To make it easier for groups to gage interest and collect names of those interested, we've put together a Group Letter Template with all the information that young people and parents need for the event. You can easily edit your group name, how much your group is going to charge depending on food and transport and a date to return the form by. Not only will Fun Day Visitors be allowed to take part in all the activities on site and soak up the camp atmosphere, they will be entertained all day by the stunning and spectacular shows performed in our Main Arena. The content is yet to be confirmed however there will be something for everyone!

There will be a cafe and retail outlets on site for Open Day visitors to purchase food and drink, but we would recommend bringing a Packed Lunch for the day.
Open Day bookings will open mid October.
Marra Camp relies on a dedicated team of adult volunteers who help us to make the event a success. No matter what your skills or talents, we will have a role suitable for you. You'll have a fantastic time making the adventure happen, along with meeting new people and friends.
Although you'll be working during the day running activities, keeping our young people safe or looking after the site, you will be able to relax in the evening with a dedicated staff entertainment programme available.
Staff is a great option for anyone working towards DofE or the Queens Scout Award as it can be used as the residential element of the awards.
Click Here to browse the Staff Roles Directory to see if any specialist roles fit your skills. If so, make sure you include them as a choice in your booking.
