Privacy Policy — Marqa (مرقى)

Marqa is a STEP exam training app. This policy explains what information the app handles.
Information we collect
You can use Marqa without an account. Your practice stays on your device. Two things involve data leaving the device: an optional account for the weekly league, and advertising in the free version. Both are described below.
Optional account and weekly league
If you choose to sign in with Google to join the weekly league, we use Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to keep:
- your Google account identifier, and the email address and name that Google provides at sign-in (held by Firebase Authentication);
- the username you choose;
- your league points (XP) for each week you take part;
- the date you last used the app, the date your account was created, and your app language.
Your username and weekly XP are shown to other signed-in learners on the league board. Your email address is never shown to anyone. We use this data only to run the league and to count how many people take part. We do not sell it. Your practice answers, scores and study history are not uploaded.
Deleting your account: open the app, go to Me → Delete account and data. This removes your account and everything listed above from our servers immediately. You can also email talkacademy.apps@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, asking us to delete your account. We will do so within 30 days. Data is kept only while your account exists.
Data stored on your device
Your practice results, scores, streaks, and settings are saved only in the app's local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.
Text-to-speech
Listening questions are spoken using your device's built-in text-to-speech engine. This happens on your device.
Third-party services
Advertising (Google AdMob). The free version of Marqa shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK collects and shares with Google your device's advertising ID, your approximate location derived from your IP address, information about your device and how you interact with the ads, and crash and performance diagnostics. Ads may be personalised. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Ads are never shown while you are answering questions. The app also loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com); when fonts are requested, your IP address is technically visible to Google, as with any internet request. The app contains no analytics tools of its own.
Children
Marqa is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.

«مرقى» تطبيق للتدريب على اختبار STEP. توضّح هذه السياسة كيفية تعامل التطبيق مع المعلومات.
المعلومات التي نجمعها
يمكنك استخدام «مرقى» دون حساب، ويبقى تدريبك على جهازك. هناك أمران فقط تغادر فيهما بيانات الجهاز: حساب اختياري للدوري الأسبوعي، والإعلانات في النسخة المجانية، وكلاهما موضّح أدناه.
الحساب الاختياري والدوري الأسبوعي
إذا اخترت تسجيل الدخول عبر Google للانضمام إلى الدوري الأسبوعي، نستخدم Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication وCloud Firestore) لحفظ ما يلي:
- معرّف حسابك في Google، وعنوان البريد الإلكتروني والاسم اللذين تقدّمهما Google عند تسجيل الدخول (تحتفظ بهما Firebase Authentication)؛
- اسم المستخدم الذي تختاره؛
- نقاط الدوري (الخبرة) لكل أسبوع تشارك فيه؛
- تاريخ آخر استخدام للتطبيق، وتاريخ إنشاء الحساب، ولغة التطبيق.
يظهر اسم المستخدم ونقاطك الأسبوعية للمتعلّمين المسجّلين الآخرين في لوحة الدوري، ولا يظهر بريدك الإلكتروني لأي أحد. نستخدم هذه البيانات فقط لتشغيل الدوري ولمعرفة عدد المشاركين، ولا نبيعها. لا تُرفع إجاباتك ودرجاتك وسجلّ تدريبك.
حذف الحساب: افتح التطبيق ثم «حسابي ← حذف الحساب والبيانات»، فيُحذف حسابك وكل ما سبق من خوادمنا فورًا. ويمكنك أيضًا مراسلة talkacademy.apps@gmail.com من البريد الذي سجّلت به لطلب حذف حسابك، وسنحذفه خلال 30 يومًا. لا نحتفظ بالبيانات إلا ما دام حسابك موجودًا.
البيانات المخزّنة على جهازك
تُحفَظ نتائج تدريبك ودرجاتك وإعداداتك في التخزين المحلي للتطبيق على جهازك فقط، ولا تغادر جهازك أبدًا. حذف التطبيق يحذفها نهائيًا.
تحويل النص إلى كلام
تُقرأ أسئلة الاستماع باستخدام محرك تحويل النص إلى كلام المدمج في جهازك، ويتم ذلك على جهازك.
خدمات الطرف الثالث
الإعلانات (Google AdMob). تعرض النسخة المجانية من «مرقى» إعلانات تقدّمها Google AdMob. لعرض الإعلانات وقياسها ومنع الاحتيال، تجمع حزمة AdMob وتشارك مع Google معرّف الإعلانات في جهازك، وموقعك التقريبي المستنتج من عنوان IP، ومعلومات عن جهازك وتفاعلك مع الإعلانات، وبيانات الأعطال والأداء. قد تكون الإعلانات مخصّصة. يمكنك إعادة ضبط معرّف الإعلانات أو إيقاف الإعلانات المخصّصة من إعدادات جهازك (الإعدادات ← Google ← الإعلانات). لا تظهر الإعلانات أبدًا أثناء الإجابة عن الأسئلة. راجع https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites و https://policies.google.com/privacy
يحمّل التطبيق أيضًا الخطوط من Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com)؛ وعند طلبها يكون عنوان IP الخاص بك مرئيًا تقنيًا لدى Google كما في أي طلب إنترنت. لا يحتوي التطبيق على أدوات تحليلات خاصة به.
الأطفال
«مرقى» مخصّص لمن هم في سن 13 عامًا فأكثر، وليس موجّهًا للأطفال. لا نجمع عن علم أي معلومات شخصية من الأطفال دون 13 عامًا.
التغييرات على هذه السياسة
في حال تغيّرت هذه السياسة، ستُنشر النسخة المحدّثة على هذا العنوان مع تاريخ سريان جديد.
