Thank you for spending your time to learn more about me.
Marlo Rachie is currently a junior at Downers Grove South High School and has been playing soccer most of her life. Marlo primarily plays midfielder and forward but is also effective as a defender. Marlo was the only freshman selected to play on the varsity girls soccer team at Downers Grove South High School for the 2017 spring season.
"Marlo is a strong force on the field, respected by teammates for her loyalty and hard work. Marlo has been forced to switch positions for the last four years every four games. This past year two seasons with us in club, she only played outside mid and forward. In high school, she played varsity as a freshman and played every position but defense although she is pretty good at that as well. If you were to toss her in goal as a keeper she can make some pretty amazing saves."
Club Soccer Coach Dan Campione
"Marlo is a player who is mentally mature beyond her years. Technically she is able to stand out at a varsity level. Marlo is dedicated to improving in not only the technical but tactical and fitness elements of her development. She is incredibly hard-working and invites the feedback from her teammates and coaches so she can learn and improve. As a Freshman playing significant minutes and contributing for a varsity level, Marlo prefers to let her abilities speak for her. However, Marlo was recommended for a high-level leadership course through her high school to promote her ability to instill confidence and motivate others, where she thrived. As such, Marlo's voice was heard during the ups and downs of our season and her words were just what her teammates needed to hear. There is no doubt in my mind that she will continue to develop into a very good player."
