Last year the licenses for Camtasia were temporarily expanded to 100 pieces to facilitate teachers in making knowledge clips. In recent months it has become apparent that Camtasia is not sufficiently useful in the context of the VU workplace, so it has now been decided to reduce the number of licenses back to the original number (5 pieces).

Employees who use a self-managed (red) PC that contains Camtasia (the VU license) are requested to remove this software themselves. If you still want to use one of the remaining VU licenses after this removal action, you are requested to make a separate request for this via AskIT. Snagit license ends

The Snagit software package will also no longer be extended after June 30 and will therefore expire. As an alternative to Snagit, the Snip & Sketch (Cut and Paste) tool that comes standard with Windows 10 is available. You can find this in your program bar under the Start icon.
