Bogopa Enterprises is one of the larger supermarket operators based in New York City, with around 25 locations in the city. The chain started in Corona in 1988 in a former Waldbaum's. After adding a few locations the following decade, the chain acquired several locations from bankrupt Big R, a discount warehouse supermarket, in 2001. The company also operated stores under the Food Dimensions name until 2012. Food Bazaar stores tend to be large and have a subsantial selection of international foods.
