This is an excerpt from my original short story, "Paths Light Can Take." It was published within The Log Cabin's Annual Anthology of short stories titled, Rooms: Writers in the Attic.
I particularly enjoy reading and writing short stories. I cannot think of a better form to experiment with as a novelist. In this particular story, I tied the passage of time and elements of characterization to the room's paint color.
Anthology is available for purchase through The Cabin Idaho or Amazon.
