Mario Reyes

Mario Reyes is a science educator based in the Southern California area. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Science Education from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Working with different schools in the Los Angeles area, a slight interest bloomed into a passion for public education. Committed to improving the lives of children, he earned his Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Mario's mission is to make science accessible, understandable, and enjoyable to all students. He believes that each student brings their own strengths and knowledge that must be incorporated into the science process. Mario is a student-centered pedagogue, devoted to bringing equity into the classroom by creating relevant lessons and sustaining an environment that celebrates every student as a capable scientist.
