I am currently a Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford Universtiy (Department of Health Policy, Stanford School of Medicine), hosted by Dr. Maya Rossin-Slater (2025–2026).I am an Imperial College Research Fellow in the Department of Economics & Public Policy at Imperial Business School, sponsored by Professor Dame Carol Propper. 

My research focuses on the intersection of health, labor, and public economics, particularly issues related to child development and human capital formation, health care inequality, and family. My projects examine (i) the long-term effects of early-life shocks, (ii) environmental risks affecting young people's mental health and well-being, (iii) socioeconomic inequality in health and access to healthcare, and (iv) factors underlying declining fertility rates.


Before joining Imperial, I gained my PhD in Health Policy (Economics) from Lancaster University, funded by the NIHR School for Public Health Research. I have a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), a Master of Science in Health Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), and a Master of Research in Applied Economics from the University Autonomous of Barcelona (UAB).

My research is interdisciplinary and I have published in academic journals in various fields, such as the Economics and Human Biology, Social Science & Medicine, BMJ, Public Health, BJGP, Health Economics, Policy and Law, etc. My work has featured in popular media and relevant blogs, such as The Guardian, The Times, Diari Ara, Nada Es Gratis, etc.

I am affiliated with Centre for Health Economics and Policy Innovation (CHEPI) and with the Health Econometrics and Data Group (HEDG—University of York). I am a member of the Royal Economic Society, the European Labor Economics Society, and the International, European, and Spanish Health Economics Associations.

I have taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Imperial College London and Lancaster University. I also served as Module Leader for the MSc Management program at Imperial Business School during the 2024–2025 academic year.
