Proposal

In order to promote the integral urban development of zone 10, it is proposed to consolidate and project this area as a centrality. To do this, interconnections with the commune and the adjacent sectors must be established in accordance with the Territorial Planning Plan (POT). These connectivity strategies will include boulevards, rounds and public spaces, as well as pedestrian paths and green areas to rescue the city. The river will be the main axis for articulation of the main nodes, contributing to turn zone 10 into an integral area.

Evaluation 

The proposal of innovation and new development for this urban piece constitutes an immediate response to various problems of permeability, projection and connection between communes. The edge of the river is proposed as a large ecological corridor in which green areas will be implanted and river transport will be rescued to create connections between centralities and urban nodes. In addition, they will be projected endowments of cultural uses, innovation and tourist centers.

Strategy 

With the aim of developing a strategy that integrates innovation and the projection of the territorial planning plan, new urban design alternatives are proposed to enhance the area as a centrality at an urban scale. These alternatives promote the integration of public areas with defined uses and allow to rescue and integrate the large green mass composed of the soil. In addition, activities are proposed that contribute to the interconnection between communes, in order to generate a better projection of the area.
