SCHOOL OF RURAL, SURVEYING AND GEOINFORMATICS ENGINEERING
Empowering the cross-cutting spatial abilities of people — from aspiring students to seasoned professionals and organizations — is my lifelong pursuit. My journey, bridging a distinguished academic career at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with strategic leadership roles in national infrastructure projects, has focused on translating pioneering research into tangible, real-world solutions.
This story is about understanding, mapping, and shaping our world using the power of Geographic Information Science (GIScience) and innovative technologies like GeoAI.
For the Youth: It’s been a privilege engaging with talented learners, inspiring them to develop into bright scientists and successful professionals capable of tackling global challenges.
For Organizations & Business: It's about leveraging deep technical expertise and leadership experience (e.g., Hellenic Cadastre) to deliver actionable strategies in complex domains like Marine Spatial Planning and Digital Transformation.
My mission now is to apply this comprehensive expertise to help public entities and businesses navigate complex data landscapes, optimize decision-making, and achieve sustainable growth through expert advice. This is the best investment for the future of society at large.
