Marina Salamero

★ ¡Hola! I am a third year PhD student in Universidad de Sevilla, Spain. My advisor in math and life is María Cumplido. My thesis brothers are José Gálvez Mateos and Pablo Regalado.

★ My field of study is Geometric Group Theory, more specifically Artin and Coxeter groups, and related families. My research currently focuses on Dyer groups, their parabolic subgroups and ribbons. I am also interested in growth rates of groups and Cactus groups.

★ I am also passionate about art and illustration. You can find some mathematically flavoured pictures in the artsy math tab.

★ I did my Bachelor in Universidad de Zaragoza. Here is my Bachelor's thesis: Bass-Serre theory
