I am interested in the fields of Economic Growth and Development, Macroeconomics, Applied Microeconomics, and Economic History.
To this point, most of my research has focused on the correlation between colonial institutional framework and current development processes in Portuguese-speaking Africa. Additionally, I have worked in the area of climate and energy and studied its microeconomic and macroeconomic implications for future growth and development.

Maintained micro-level SQL databases using Orbis, Refinitiv Eikon, IBACH, and AnaCredit and made them available for internal use with STATA, R, and MATLAB.
