Mariam Al-Hawaj

I am a PhD candidate in the department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto, working under the supervision of Giulio Tiozzo.

My research interests lie on dynamical systems, geometric group theory, and low dimensional topology. I am particularly interested in building new connections between complex dynamics and Teichmüller theory.
