About me
I am an applied mathematics engineer at Munters. Until 2022, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the department of mathematic at KTH within the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program. I was part of the Mathematics of Data and AI group working with Katharina Jochemko. Before, I was a postdoc in the number theory group at EPFL working with Maryna Viazovska, and an ICERM semester postdoc at Brown University. In 2017, I completed my PhD at the University of Cologne, advised by Frank Vallentin.
Besides math, I am also passionate about indoor and outdoor bouldering, hiking, and knitting.
Research interests
Optimization (in particular, semidefinite and polynomial optimization)
Discrete geometry (in particular, packing and energy minimization)
Real algebraic geometry (in particular, sum-of-squares approximations to nonnegative polynomials)
Interactions with artificial intelligence
