Wanda Lattanzi
She is a medical geneticist and associate professor of biology at the Catholic University of Rome. Her scientific interest is focused on bone biology, ranging from genetic pathophysiology of congenital bone disorders to somatic stem cells study and exploitation in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering approaches. She has a 20 years track record of publications in the field, obtained awards and funding through national and international agencies (NIH, AFM telethon, Italian Ministry of Health, Region Latium, etc), and actively cooperates within relevant international consortia and networks (ICC, ERN-CRANIO) for the study of rare craniofacial bone diseases.Â
