Luca Digiacomo is a Researcher at the Department of Molecular Medicine, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Physicist by training, he obtained a PhD in Life and Health Sciences in 2018. Over a period of 8 years, Dr. Digiacomo has studied nanomaterial-protein interactions for both therapeutic and diagnostic applications. Under the mentorship of Prof. Caracciolo and Prof. Pozzi, he worked in collaboration with national and international research teams focusing on Nanotechnology and Precision Medicine. Current research interests are the development of nanomaterial-based tools for the early detection of cancers, and the study of human exposure to nano and microplastics.
