With over 12 years of research experience, her work has primarily centered on cellular and molecular biology, with a specific focus on musculoskeletal disorders, to understand the underlying pathogenic mechanisms and design innovative therapeutic strategies for tissue regeneration. Dr. Lorena Di Pietro has actively contributed to several research projects, also as principal investigator, with funding provided by various national and international agencies.
