Platano .

Platano is a platform created by Margarida Constantino to develop and showcase theater and dance performance art in solo creations and in collaboration with Christina Mastori and Maas van Gogh. Constantino has been integrated in the Netherlands as a maker and performer since 2021, and active with Platano since 2023. This platform was created in order to acknowledge all the collective efforts of the different artists whose roles vary depending on the necessities of a specific project or research. The projects and their development rely strongly on the collaboration of multiple artists to create performance art, music and digital media.

Together we look for a collaborative voice within performance to speak about subjects that are close to our generation, such as environmental issues, coming of age, feminism, working in the cultural sector, and how to coexist within the differences that make us human.
