Welcome to my website!
My research centers on macroeconomic uncertainty, beliefs, and policy effectiveness, with a focus on understanding the dynamics of long-run economic development, business cycles, and the transmission of monetary policy. My doctoral dissertation at the University of Lucerne employed both theoretical and empirical approaches to examine these themes, and included a PhD visit at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from the University of Tübingen, a Master of Science in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham , and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Konstanz. Additionally, I completed the Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students in Economics at the Study Center Gerzensee, where I refined my expertise in advanced economic theory and quantitative methods.
Beyond research, I am passionate about teaching and teamwork. I invite you to explore my work, which reflects a broader interest in using empirical methods and theoretical models to explore complex economic phenomena across different contexts, shedding light on the evolution of economic systems and policy outcomes over time.
