Hi,
I am Marek Filakovský - a mathematician who specializes in computational aspects of algebraic topology and topological methods in discrete mathematics.
After finishing my Ph.D. at the math department of the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, I've spent a number of years at ISTA as a postdoc in Uli Wagner's group.
Later, I moved to Charles University and currently I am again at the Masaryk University, this time Faculty of Informatics on the MSCAfellow5_Muni project in Dan Král's group researching topological aspects of problems in graph theory.
You can read my full CV here, check my academic profile and read more on my research interests, teaching experience and fun problems below.
(since 2024 I also co-organize the Seminar on Foundations of Computing, check it out!)
