Marek Filakovský

I specialize in computational aspects of algebraic topology and topological methods in discrete mathematics.

After finishing my Ph.D. at the math department of the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, I've spent a number of years at ISTA as a postdoc in Uli Wagner's group. 

Later, I moved to Charles University and in 2024, I returned to the Masaryk University, this time Faculty of Informatics on the MSCAfellow5_Muni project in Dan Král's group researching topological aspects of problems in graph theory.

Since 2026, I am working on my MASH project at the Faculty of Science.
