I am Director of Data Sciences for the University of Pennsylvania Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies. I received my PhD in Political Science at Vanderbilt University. My research focuses on how new and old media systems interact to affect the political behavior of both voters and legislators.
My work has appeared in the Journal of Politics, Science Advances, the British Journal of Political Science, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Political Behavior, and the International Journal of Press/Politics. I was also a contributor for MSNBC's 2016 election coverage highlighting survey trends.

Outside of my work I love long runs in the woods, playing guitar, rock climbing, and making sure to ride bikes everyday.
